Arttraffic Presents New Featured Artist - Darren MacPherson
Arttraffic’s newest featured artist is an interesting and fresh step out of the ordinary for the entire team. With beautiful colors, brief contours and suggestive stances, Darren Macpherson is a freeflowing acrylic and oil talent.
Darren uses color and competition to satisfy his fascination with the human condition. His style is both figurative and abstract, and he has a restless flair for color and impressionism. His frequent uses of key colors are often jarring, even startling to a first-time viewer. The negative space in his compositions is used merely to emphasize the foreground; however, this is the part of his work that he spends the most time on and he tends to add layer upon layer of content. Darren’s colors bounce off of the canvas and his chaotic, sometimes erratic, strokes make for abstract suggestions of the male and female form.
His paintings display an array of emotions, ranging from innocence to sauciness and modesty to audacity. Darren’s works have been held in private and corporate collections worldwide. The Arttraffic team is very happy to have Darren onboard and we are all enjoying the way his artwork is causing such a stir. His art contemporary is different, fresh, vibrant and outrageous.
