Justin LEE WILLIAMS
Justin is a Melbourne-based artist who experiments with different kinds of techniques, such as water color and mixed media. There’s something about the way Justin applies the paint to canvas, don’t you think? I find his work interesting, especially the drips of bleeding paint, the mixed media and the smudges details. Check out more of his fantastic work here. Amanda

Art & Design Films were lucky enough to catch up with prolific artist Ron English for a quick chat the day before the opening of his London show at Elms Lester Painting Rooms. Provocative and insightful his work scythes to the heart of the matter as sharply as his execution of the paintings. Please enjoy the fruits of our brief 20 minute chat.

Baroque paintings in a contemporary touch
Paintings by Nicola Samorì. Nicola Samori’s art is sort of Baroque. Contemporary art, is closely connected to the term Neo-Baroque, which concerns itself with the reappearing of baroque tendencies. The pieces tend to be an examination of a period as well as it is a postulate of baroque tendencies in contemporary art.
